Artist's Statement: Living in North Florida, I don't get a lot of opportunities to photograph ice, so when we had a hard freeze last year I ran sprinklers overnight on a chickasaw plum tree. I ran the sprinklers a bit too long and almost killed the tree, but I did manage to get quite a few interesting photos. I placed a blue cloth beneath the icicle to get the blue background. No changes were made from the original photo.
